Sir Isaac Newton PRS (c.25 December 1642–20 March 1727) was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian. He is believed to be a Keeper of the Journal.
Keeper of the Journal[]
It is presently unknown when and where Newton encountered the Shepherd's Journal. It is most likely that he got a look, and perhaps a chance to study, the Journal when it was housed in Cambridge University, which was placed there by Christopher Wren.
